Your Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on the Astrological Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions before the game's launch, to players developing firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the good side of either and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Many previous official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this total queen. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless stream of chatter to those who wants to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Mega Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol known for frequently getting wrapped up in their emotions. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to create a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo brings to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them worry more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. Being a Archer personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire typing matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
